The team’s technical manager, Andrew Green, is well aware of the fact that 2020 is not the best year in Sebastian Vettel’s career. However, he considers that Vettel’s arrival will have a positive impact, whereas they should be able to get the best out of the German racer.
The legal successor of Racing Point is not worried at all about the fact that the four-time World Champion faces difficulties this year (As well) and that he cannot really compete against his so much younger teammate. This is not unusual in case of a team where a certain driver is excluded from the decision making process from the very beginning…
‘We are well aware of the fact that right now he is not in best shape and maybe he lost his touch a little… However, we might be the cure for rehabilitating this racer. I am sure that we will find a balance and that he will find his place and become successful again.
We always focus on the racer, he is number one, the most important part of the entire structure; after all, he is the one sitting behind the wheel and providing feedback. We always thrive for building a harmony-based relationship with the drivers, thereby wishing to understand them better. Strong working and general connections are the basis from our side for making the drivers feel right at tome and to convince them to trust us. There are no inner fights and blames, so the racers can focus on their job: on racing.’ – stated Green in an optimistic tone.
We would very much like to hear the opinion of Sergio Perez about everything stated….
