After a lot of bitter waiting, race delays/cancellations, a few hours ago Formula 1 finally announced the race calendar for the races carried out on this continent. Buckle up, the countdown begins, the races are coming soon and they will be on top of each other.
As expected, the season will begin in the Red Bull Ring with a double race weekend, followed immediately by the Hungaroring and the Hungarian Grand Prix, which will surely be held on the 19th of July. August will begin at the controversial Silverstone where the racing circus will double the tracks, that will be followed by the Spanish Grand Prix. After this, following the pre-pandemic calendar, there will be no change, as both the Belgian and Italian Grand Prix will take place at the time originally scheduled.

The announcement issued by F1 also reveals in detail the names of the individual anniversary races: the doubling Austria will restart the world’s motorsport cycle with the Austrian Grand Prix and then the Styrian Grand Prix.
Silverstone is not left out of the party either: their race on the 9th of August will be called the 70th Anniversary Grand Prix during which they’ll evoke the fact that Formula 1 was started there in 1950. Information about the further schedule may come soon, as soon as this happens, we’ll let you know!
