The German weekend of race turns out to be very interesting, yet we hope that it will get even more interesting. No reason to complain so far.
The start of the free practice was preceded by the news according to which the Racing Point driver, Lance Stroll was not feeling well. Therefore, he did not drive any laps behind the wheels of his pink car. Therefore, his team turned to his now official replacement: Nico Hülkenberg. (His job will not be easy…).
The activities started on a sunny, yet cold days, with only 8°C, on cold asphalt with temperatures up to 15-17 degrees.
The last 25 minutes of the one-hour practice were really interesting, the teams started pushing their vehicles, by giving their best. At the end the pole position was conquered by Bottas and the two Ferraris land in the top 5, which is really something. Whoever can draw any conclusions from the events so far, is surely a special … Does the so far most interesting qualification of the season follow?
