Gerhard Berger: This Is What Ferrari Do Wrong…

We didn’t explicitly checked it, but it could easily be guessed that the 71st Italian Grand Prix will go down in the history of the Scuderia Ferrari as one of the worst performances of all time at home soil. Gerhard Berger has now spoken a truth that many, many red sympathizers have had in their minds for a long time.

One of the team’s best-known ex-riders has shed light on the fact that they are too local patriots in Maranello and they want to get to the top with Italians only – but this isn’t going to work for them… Neither now nor later:

“I think at Scuderia they’ve simply daydreamed too much and want to win a championship with involving almost only Italians as custodians of success. This is a very bad perception, because if you want to win, you have to put aside your patriotic emotions and get the best professionals in the world in all fields. If they win, still Italy has the merit for it. When I was racing in their team, this thing wasn’t so accentuated yet, but it could be felt already. Only an international team of professionals and years of consistent hard work can pull them out of this pit. They are able to do it because they have their own example in front of them.” Gerhard Berger said.

Ferrari is preparing for the Tuscany Grand Prix with these omens, which will be the team’s 1000th Formula 1 race of their existence. Perhaps all sober-minded Formula 1 fanatics will agree that the series definitely needs a strong Ferrari.
