Hungarian Grand Prix, FP2: Rainy Pole Position For Vettel, No Laps For Hamilton

The second free practice was rather a one-and-a-half practice, because during the first 45 minutes of the rain only four cars continued the practice. Pierre Gasly, Kimi Raikkönen and the two Racing Point drivers remained active.

The second run proved to be more dynamic, however there were racers who just did not step on the gas while racing on the Hungaroring. Among these drivers was also Lewis Hamilton, who showed up only to get acquainted with the track. Sebastian Vettel and Scuderia Ferrari acted on the contrary, thereby trying to recover the work and the kilometers lost in Austria.

The German driver was pretty fast on his temporary tires, however, the option of using such tires proved to be a wrong decision. But he managed to pull through and won the practice. Vettel was closely followed by Valtteri Bottas and Carlos Sainz, and due to Lance Stroll the Racing Point managed once again to land on the fourth position.

The most important aspects are to be decided tomorrow, however, such images may occur during the entire weekend, meaning that the weather may still bring surprises. We are very curious and waiting…
