Lewis Hamilton wants to battle other competitors as well

AThe World Champion Brit and winner of the 35th Hungarian Grand Prix stated that he is not satisfied with the fact that the only competition he has is Valtteri Bottas. Hamilton would gladly duke it out with the others as well.

A mere three races are complete in the 2020 Season of Formula 1, but it’s already very apparent that the only racer who may pose a threat to Hamilton’s title defence is his teammate, Bottas. The Finn started strong in the 2020 Season as well, winning the season-opening Austrian Grand Prix, but since then, yesteryear’s tendency is looking to be setting in again, and it seems as if Bottas will again be second fiddle to his record-breaking teammate…

Currently, it would be a huge overstatement to say that anyone is looking like they could stop Hamilton’s ascension, but at the same time, the driver stated that this situation is not at all ideal for him:

I hope that our rivals will make it harder in time. We work a great amount to be where we are, and to be successful and fight for records. We will continue to do so in the future, but it’s obvious that we can’t know what the upcoming races have in store. We didn’t make a single mistake this weekend, everything came together, and we didn’t leave our opponents with much of a choice. Despite this,  I would love to compete with the others, too, and I hope that the other leading teams of the competition will present good challenges to us.” – stated the leader of the 2020 World Championship.

We would also enjoy this quite a lot for the excitement of the races and the entertainment of the fans.
