We can all probably remember very well when, due to their incident at the Portuguese Grand Prix, Max Verstappen called Lance Stroll an idiot and a “Mongol”. A quite large scandal is forming around the incident, since Mongolia’s ambassador to the UN forwarded a complaint against the Dutchman no only to FIA, but now also to the leaders of the United Nations.
“Despite the fact that we brought it to his attention, he hasn’t apologised once from the people he offended: the Mongolian people and their community. Neither him, nor his team has apologised, despite insulting us publicly on previous occasions. Just hink of the 2017 USA Grand Prix (where Verstappen used the word Mongol in a similar context). They don’t understand that this is insulting to certain social groups…” – said the ambassador.
„Noha többször is felhívtuk rá a figyelmét, egyetlen esetben sem kért bocsánatot azoktól, akiket megsértett: a mongol nemzettől és a közösségüktől.
Seriously people, is this really the biggest problem the world has to face now?
